The Junk Snatcher, with the Multi-surge exclusive system, is the most efficient tool available to recollect small solids from opened or piped holes.
Junk Snatcher, it recovers all types of solids: ferrous, not ferrous or not metallic with the same ease. It operates without need of pumps in the surface. Because of the manner it removes from the well all foreign substances, the Junk Snatcher is mostly used previously to the core extraction operation. It completely cleans the well, removing small pieces of metal and quartz which would not interfere with an ordinary drilling, but could damage the expensive diamond core bits. Many people consider the operative cost of the Junk Snatcher is paid, many times, with the time and damage saved in equipment.
Rotation operations with mills or bits are carried out in a much easier way, and in less time if, previously, all drilling residue or residues from previous rotations are removed first; and, as a result, an inferior cost and saving in the wearing of the cutting piece is achieved.
The Junk Snatcher can work inside the production pipe or inside the casing pipe. It makes use of a pressure difference principle, using the well ´s fluids as operative media. A preset quantity of pipes on the tools is originally null of fluid. When this section opens, a strong wave of fluid is originated, while the hydrostatic pressures inside and outside the pipes get even. The turbulence and suction originated by this wave “capture” residues from the bottom of the well and deposit it at the waste basket. The power resulting from this difference of pressures is much more efficient that those caused by circulation tools. Besides, these tools have the advantage of easing off solids stuck in the well, which, in case of remaining, could cause inconveniences. Cleaning operations may be repeated in a sole equipment maneuver until the pressure get completely even.
The Junk Snatcher is efficient at all depths. The pressure difference needed for carrying out the operation is always within the limits of security, independently of the depth involved. Pressure differences must be regulated in order to avoid that the strength generated by the fluid damage the fishing cord or pipe.
The Junk Snatcher is available for all sizes of pipes and wells, and it can be used in pipelines of 2" or more.
